I could not agree more, a totally misleading piece. Which I find ironic when the author of 'why I didn't go on strike' sought to remind everyone of the site's misuse policy. If there's ever a post that should be removed this is it!

How about putting the blame where it belongs eh ken,right at the door of RM,they have trashed our terms and conditions not the union,but hey as long as you think your right,you go in and do Rm's dirty work at undermining the union,you sir are a damm disgrace,you mump and moan about increasing workload but dont want to help the situation by supporting your workmates ,hypocrite is the word I would use about you.

Let me get this right.

Case 1: We elect particular unions reps, right up the scale to the top but when we don't agree with what they suggest we do, even though we voted on it and 76% agreed to it, we ignore it (maybe we voted 'No') go into work and get patted on the back.

Case 2: We elect particular MPs and a government is formed but when we don't agree to certain laws, taxes and, most of all, some aspects of political correctness, we break/don't pay/ignore it (Maybe we voted for another party) we go to prison?

I'll give Ken credit for at least for walking in. Two years ago one individual at our office (single, with only himself to keep, does all the overtime going as he feels the place would collapse without him - you know the type, but he 'needed' the money) was smuggled in, hiding in the back of a van. He's probably beavering away right now.
