HAD A GREAT DAY TODAY NOT ,CAME IN TO DO A NEW ROUND BLIND STARTED ONLY TO FIND OUT ALL THE ROADS SINGNS ONTHE ESTATE HAD BEEN NICKED!!!!!!!
IT WAS A MAZE OF A PLACE :crazy: :crazy:
I GET A BLIND ROUND ALL THE TIME NOW SHOULD I NOT HAVE TRAINING ON EACH ROUND??? :d'oh!

I think every postie should learn every walk/duty in a office to really know 1.. the sorting.. 2.. the job inside out...

Callers.. Ex phg jobs... Bookroom... RLE... Then once you have done this u can have an opinion about all the office and the knowledge is priceless.. I got trained on one walk and learned the rest of the 74 walks in my old office... And done the job by the 318... Shame about the lack of sign posts... Bastard kids!!! :d'oh! I think the reason now that RM are employing people that cant do the job because they dont get enough training and mainly because the people are SHITE at the job... FACT... Shame but its true and RM want anybody now days...

They de skilled the job and offer jobs now to dum dums who cant even string a sentence together let alone read a letter or sort....

I might seem harsh but its true... Taken away the PHG status and then a land slide of people come flooding in the doors.. The knowledge sorting IS the best way and fastest way to sort if done well... But then RM in some offices go back to alpha and breakdowns... So strike breakers and casuals and screws can do it when we are out on strike....Same goes for in a MC... They let A,G posties pick up all the same O/T as the full timers and why....? They say because of Discrimination of part timers.. I say BOLLOX !!! So wot about the F/T rights and O/T that every man jack of us have to do to get a half liverbal wage???? Makes me sick!!!! I want a level playing field for all.. YES... But not as it is... With P/T. A/G's With more rights than a FULLTIMER.... The Union i have to blame for not standing up for US the F/T workers... Coz they still get the P/T monies in from them and they know RM wont employ anymore F/T workers so take P/T money and give them the cream....

Im ranting now But when the CWU get the F/T Backing is when we get the lion share... It might sound out of order but its true... THIS IS OUR ONLY JOB.... NOT A PART TIME JOB WITH ANY OTHER JOB ON THE SIDE!!!!

yesterday we were told,that right of way was now 9.30 am and anybody cutting off could be facing disciplinary which could lead to suspension.
so even if the union do manage to stop these later starts,our boss is already forcing a 10.00 delivery start on us anyway..

and he expects nobody to cut off neither..i swear they hate posties doing thier job...it really pisses them off that we should go out and finish at a decent time.
