Every House and done at 1145 what time did you go out. We leave at 0830 and if I go to every house I would not get done till 2:30 (which I wont do).

Christ I got out at 8.45, first letter was at 9.00am, My round is easy, think its 417 houses and a fair few of them are flats which have boxes, and many of the houses are an easy cut through to next door, no long drives or anything like that, I must be lucky.

I'd say if they ever talk about pegasus or geo-route at your place that round will get bigger. My round BTW is over 600 and with steps on about 2/3rds of it. Try and hang on to that one James.

Bad Round

Post by JAMESMARSH1980 »

I feel the same although I am lucky to ahve a very good round, I have done docket on another round which was a similar number of houses but the drives were huge and there was a fair few yards walk between the houses, It took me ages, there was supposed to be a area manager coming down to have a look at the rounds but it never happened, I guess they will keep it the same at our place until somebody speaks up.

I can understand your point mate but its impossible to get everyone to start and finish at the same time.No 2 walks are the same if everyone had a 3.5 hour delivery traffic will vary from walk to walk ,same as redirection, reg, recordeds packets e.t.c..Also people differ, some very quick, some not as (older bods)Do the early finishers come in early as well?R/Ms answer is teamworking do you want that? Not me bruv, take C.W.U.advice do the job properley dont rush about take your break weigh yer bags e,t,c,Dont worry if they finish before you to much, chill out and relax friend its much better :Very Happy

Naff all in again today, bit worrying. :nervous
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
