Thursday. Same finish time just 24hrs later. All the walks that have changed for the revision all seem to have consistent finish times. That is to say.... they all seem to finish late. :hmmmm

Heavy one today however at least the weather is ok. Union man spent half his day kissing the managers arse as usual. Manager was without his trusty ass(istant) sidekick today who thinks he is a bit of a ticket so the atmosphere was a bit better

Catalogues all over the mother frakker today. I hate houses that have to have all of the bulky catalogues. We had four varieties of bulkster turn up today and there were two houses on my walk that had all four. That's a bundle to each of them. Messes your bags up no end. Despite a call rate of about 75%, I had seven bags for a 500-house walk.

Great day today, I've really come to enjoy this 'falling mail volume', if it falls any more then my manager will break under the pressure of delivering all my cut offs :chuckle :chuckle

Been working in neighburing office all week - longer walk - loads of dead walking due to lack of well-placed pouch boxes ("The usual guy uses his car" ) - went well over Wed/Thur (and claimed accordingly) - was told "Same again next week" (although might be a different walk) ...

Upside is this week's walk finishes about five minutes from my front door :nana
"We're under model" - oh no we're not - stick your lapse elsewhere ...

Complete s**t, a new stupid nonsensical geo routed walk for me to follow, me and partner managed just over half, passing each other, dead walking over same ground, if you've been Geo'd you know the score, a child and a crayon could have come up with more sensible duties, every single one of ours goes uphill.

idiots.

we just keep bringin it back, the backlog's mounting.

Lost £100 on the Grand National.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
