I think you may be mistaking D2D items with the poll cards.

We get paid a separate payment for delivering D2D items - so therefore you are not supposed to claim overtime for delivering these items.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Incorrect from both ends. We do not get a seperate payment for D2Ds, we do get a supplement for working in delivery (which incidentaly is paid when you do overtime up to 39 hours). You can claim overtime when delivering D2Ds as they are now officialy included in the workload and any planning should reflect this.

Postslippete,
I suggest you read through the National Joint Statement regarding these items as it says different...

They haven't been shifted - somebody's just been lying to you about where they are.

Laughing at the manager going into a big strop is one of the best things about the job  It's an old classic - I haven't got a leg to stand on so I'll throw a hissy fit and hopefully the OPG will buckle. The counter to this is to know your rights and not give a s**t. :cuppa

Only parts of our office had these today and I think most of them were early starters so, even though they were complaining about them, they were out the door on time (instead of being an hour early).

Some need to get real. Some need to spend some time walking in our shoes. Some need to sample the sort of daily workload we have to face, before s**t like those magazines are foisted on us, and with great cost to both our health and quality of life. Some need to think more carefully before mouthing holier than thou Platitudes to those they supposedly represent and stand up for.

We had a few walks with the 2 day D2D.
A lot failed. One walk that had them didn't go out at all on Friday.
Undoubtedly they will all be put in a York that will then be placed in front of the fire escape.

If I thought this sort of mailing was a good thing for my business I certainly wouldn't use RM to deliver them.
