Polling cards, who pays for our supplements?

Poll cards are not a pain in the arse to get delivered, they get sequenced along with all the other machinable mail

.......... but because we get paid for them individually we have to count them as we prep them. And they're mixed in with other machinable mail.

More work perhaps but you are getting paid extra for delivery. Even at 3.5p a drop its good money.

Why flag it up with Moya or IB, its the USO and Part of a national agreement

@zx135 how many part timers do you have at your office? I bet a good few of them would jump at the chance for more hours

there is still the same amount of work load in the offce, so regrdaless of whether it is dopne on a saturday or a monday its not going to result in extra hours as there is no "extra work" our office revision resulted in part timers being made up and the shorter saturday helps everyone get at least 1 in 4 saturdays off

Maybe in your area but in they were not even walk sorted, had to be hand sorted every single one, again different mail centres deal with them in different ways

Also if all the mail arriving at DO is due for delivery and the outtward mail centre doesnt dispatch it til its due, tell me this how can a second class letter then get posted one day and back for delivery the next day?

I delivered two poll cards redirected from the the other end of the country (i.e. South) - how do I claim my 3.5p x 2 ... or has some Southern b*st*rd included them in their count
