Very recently we've had visits at my office from Thompsett, Cameron & Higson (all separately). I want to know when the big boys from HQ are actually going to start visiting offices that are in the s**t?
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

They aren't. They're not remotely interested in the plebs, they think you should know your f...... place :chuckle

See in the same way We would not have known that Ray Thompsett , Steve Cameron and Mark Higson have visted your office , you don't hear the offices Dave Ward , Bob Gibson , Terry Pullinger or the Pec go too.

Dave Ward went into Brighton Delivery office a failing revision and goes to many different offices .there are 1600 delivery and spdo's and over mail centres , rdcs , vocs , cash in transit , as well as post offices.

You can not visit all of them in. However I know for a fact that Dave , Bob or Terry will go to any office and hold a meeting with the members if you email them. So Dvbuk or storm email them and you will get a visit arranged.

They do care.

Strange that someone should mention the hoi poloi had visited their office but I've never heard mention of those from HQ visiting any office, I'm sure they do sometimes - just that I haven't heard of it nor seen one - mind I have seen an Area rep a couple of times but never a member of the PEC/NEC or a Div Rep mind I have only been with RM 23 years and a union member for all of 22 years - maybe they just like to visit the same places. I would like to see one to ask how the 75/25 ratio is working out according to RM and is it an inclusive 75/25 or just CWU members :hmmmm

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
