Just been suspended

Well its now been over 2 weeks since my return to work and I have not heard a thing.
I'm pretty disgusted really, how can they put me through that and do nothing ??

You are right, I think the manager is going to have a tough time justifying my suspension now that they know my supervisor lied to get me suspended.

You need to have a record in writing of how you feel to protect yourself against future attacks. They have tried to put the frighteners on you and this is not acceptable.

You could email your DOM about how you feel and leave the ball in their court, or you could raise a grievance.

If all members got into the habit of emailing their managers, we could make a real stand against bullying.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking that a manager is your 'friend'. If it comes to the crunch, they will betray you. There are only two classes of people in the workplace, the shafters and the shafted. It doesn't matter what your lifestyle is like outside of work, you are either a shafter or a shaftee. The only members of the shafted class who side with the shafters are bullies who harass their fellow workers on behalf of the management and get favours in return, or Mrs Bucket types who think that because they shop at Marks and Spencers and get a bob haircut, they are 'middle class'.

There is no such thing as 'middle class', there is only a 'middle class' lifestyle. These selfish twats need to learn that the only thing to be achieved from licking a manager's arse, is a brown tongue. These bastards join the Union but they never support their fellow workers. We can't stop them joining but we can provide witness statements if we catch them abusing other members and we can help to bring them to justice.

The Union should not agree to allow any CWU grades to be supervisors.
