Fluke's remarks make it clear that he knows more than most about what's happened in that office and they are a reminder that being a union rep can be a thankless task, little credit given when you sort things out but plenty of flak when you can't, and I know this all too well from being a union rep in a previous occupation.

Aww fluke, I'm not talking bout this case in general. There is NO EXCUSE for dumping mail. I was just trying to say that if some reps were more approachable, then maybe it wouldn't happen so often. As i said, we had one guy was coming in to do overtime covering half a duty and going home with the mail, or delivering a few letters from it. Can't understand it myself, why do overtime if you're gonna do that? Just think that sometimes if reps/management were more approachable, especially the latter that there would be less of it going on.
