Besides, I'm confused about the break allowance - she only works 5 hours a day? According to TBT you only get a break when work 6+ hours??
25hr contracts get 30mins a day.
Funny thing about that is IF and it's a big if a 25hr contract was to go to a 3 day 8hr20 min attendance they would move to a 40 min meal relief but would actually "work" 30mins more a week.
You think too much! But it's a good point, but where did it come from.
5 day attendance 5x30mins meal relief =2hrs 30mins Net Working Week....22.5 Hrs.
3 day attendance 3x40mins meal relief =2hrs 00mins Net Working Week....23 Hrs....part-timers screwed for another 30mins.

I would guess some would swallow that for the extra days off.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
