It ain't going to be a 'Lump Sum' its broken up into little chunks spread out, why would you want to be shafted for money that you were already entitled to?
Or money that you will never fully get because your mail centre is marked for closure and you will not be able to achieve the £600 and the shorter working week????

Did you notice that the words pro rata have been omitted from the propaganda leaflet they sent us? No mention of it regarding d2d either.

Not telling the whole truth on this is as bad as a lie in my eyes.

An 80 page A4 agreement condensed into a 4 page A5 leaflet, oh and a letter - that's why this whole process has a ripe smell about it. Even the Daily Mirror was critical of the part played by the leaders of the union in trying to sell this agreement to the members on the dawn of Croziers £2million parting gift and someone else leaving with a £1million - that "against a backdrop like this" of financial ruin.

We have had this argument on here many times and it astounds me that a senior rep has repeated what management says. Even RM official (unagreed I grant) say it should be done in work time.

Though you are right that the new agreement clears up that issue completely. :Very Happy
