Wtf? I have a rural delivery and left the office at 9 30 am this morning, conveyed a colleague and dropped off his five bags, first letter at 10 am! Next week will be even later I'm sure and yes I do claim the o/t.

My earliest finish was 8 30 am back in '98 when I met my wife before she dropped off my son to the local Nursery !

I once went in on my then fixed day off on a friday, completed two two and a half hour walks and a four hour evening collection for a grand total of twenty hours o/t in a single day :) I was ****ed though!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
