I really hope not -

I hope if it is a deal its watertight, and if its a "form of words" I hope but don't expect Royal Mail to honour the spirit of whatever has been agreed.

As I understand it the PEC can suspend strikes based of a "form of words" but they cannot accept an agreement they can only recommend it, as happened in 2007.

This isn't even a deal on the issues. Even if it was, it'd be subject to a ballot. ;)

how can you reach an agreement to talk about another agreement to reach settlement on agreement
absolute p**h or they dont actuallly understand what they are agreeing to
get a deal done yes but only to serve purpose not to suit individuals or one half of negotiatiors
make it official why is no one allowed to know what draft is
make itofficial and let membership know
whats to hide

Is the strike off?

Post by lillywhite »

Sky are reporting that a draft agreement has been reached with the union and royal mail? Will the strike go ahead and how will we be informed either way? :hmmmm
