Thanks BELIAL for the additional info

I was on about iceman. His DO seems to have not one single person with a backbone.Quislings each and everyone.
I am a postman and I kept the faith and I kept voting, not for new labour but for the working man.

The presence of a picket at any depot should put anyone on the spot who was thinking of working, and the smaller offices which haven't supported past strikes should be picketed one way or another this time round. Also, what is the position vis-a-vis getting solidarity from those parts of the wider RM network not 'officially in dispute', and beyond? The stakes are looking pretty high...I'm sure TNT workers also have industrial relations 'issues' with their management.

Re: Small offices not striking
As some of you may know i quit RM a few months ago, spoke to a good mate and ex-colleague at my old DO - he said that several of the posties there had quit the union recently, including himself, and predicted that only a handful would be striking on Friday
The "argument" for the strike breakers being that most of the lapsing, absorbtion etc had already been imposed on their office ages ago, and they were just getting on with it....
I argued the point that if the CWU lose this dispute, they will be all be getting shafted big time, and the ones who have quit the CWU will be especially vulnerable to B&H and will obviously have no protection from union.
Seems to be an " I,m alright Jack" attitude at some offices
but TOTAL RESPECT to the few at that DO who can see the big picture and are prepared to fight
