the upper levels of management must be laughing their heads off while screwing us daily.
Image iow1 and Meweavy plus anyone who feels the union are remote, here's a little story our Old chindribbler of a rep (That's him back there) told me a couple of months ago. Seems he was at a meeting at the branch offices when some BigShot Union NEC Suit paid the branch (Midlands No 7, currently very active indeed) a visit. At the time we had been thru a couple of strikes over CHRISTMAS (Am I still allowed to say CHRISTMAS?) and we, sorry, he, asked him why the BigShots weren't backing us as we felt very isolated at the timeImage What the suit said was that the CWU are strongImage in some areas of the UK and weak in othersImage etc etc. The moral of the tale is simple guys and galsImage When youv'e had enough of the s**t our employer is currently dishing out, stop acting like (I mean this in a PC way)Image Imageget yourselves together, contact the CWU and f***ing sort yourselves out It's the only way anythin is going to get doneImageImage ---------------KWACKImage

This might see a sexist post but its not meant to be. It may be a very good idea for a woman to be a rep as most men get very uncomfortable when trying to argue with a member of the opposite sex. Also what with all the pc, respect and sexually equality they have to think about the rep would be in a strong position,

Goo Idea. :Applause :Applause

Shift starts at 1350, but to be honest if you want a parking space you need to be in by 1315. Unlike postmen if the mail runs out we have to stay till the end of shift.

We finish at 2150 occasionally 2140 with break plans, there is no flexibility we have asked many time if we can start 5 minutes early on the early finish days so we can get an earlier ferry at 2145 and not wait til 2215 always turned down.

Yet people are allowed to leave early to catch earlier buses.

We've got someone on here who works those machines,he's saying although the way the work is bundled in a monkey can throw a walk up,
he seems to think it only saves 10 mins or so,the Courier did say it saves 30 mins.
I don't think they are as super dooper as RM thought they would be.24601

As for the break thing :d'oh!
