I had two letters for a house today addressed to Peter Falk and Scarlett O'hara. As the people there are named N****, I asume they are made-up names.
Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I had to speak to someone over the phone once called Mrs P Staines and I didn't cotton on to how funny that was until after I'd said the name out loud. Luckily she wasn't available to speak to and never phoned back...
I also used to know a Mr Tickle and Mr Wiggle.
And I think we genuinely had a Mr Walker living with a Miss Crisp around here too.

We used to have a postlady named *** Wyatt. There was a bloke on her walk named Earp. I used to joke with her saying she should marry him, so she could be *** Wyatt-Earp.

A funny thing happened about 8 years back, a letter was addressed to the 'Gas Consumer'. The owner came out and said he'd never heard of anyone living at his address before with that name.
