We need to hear from actual posties from these trial offices over the next few months, preferably on video if they were comfortable doing that. This can’t be all done in the shadows with Martin Dave and the company coming out in July saying the trials worked whilst we have vague reports on here and social media of how much of a s**t show it was in reality. Full transparency needed. I don’t trust the company or the union as far as I could throw them.

The talk of getting better duty patterns like 9 day and 4 day weeks are all very well. Since the last (awful) agreement a lot of our offices north of the border and in the South west don't start till 9. The longer days will be keeping us out till 6. No thanks

Tell the CWU that now. Contact your CWU officials and tell them what you want. Don't wait for them because they aren't waiting for you.

Better still - tell the rank and file committee in your unit.
If you can find them that is.

He has got a point though. The CWU ain't interested in posties T&C's if they are going ahead with this new way of working. This is going to be an utter disaster of epic proportions for us all and the final nail in the coffin of this once great company.

He has got a point though.
No he doesn't.
He never has had. He never will do.
It is laughable for someone who has been so vociferous in his denunciation of the trade union movement to suggest workers now contact their reps about their terms and conditions.
The level of hypocrisy is so extreme as to be laughable.
But I suppose we shouldn't expect anything better from someone who hasn't even taken his GCSEs yet.

Vr isn't good especially when this new uso method comes in means people with excellent knowledge of every area is being replaced with ppl that will last a week if most especially with the new workload we will be training new ppl week in week out. Knowledge and years and years experience is quality of service.
There isn't even time to train new posties. 1 day training at most!

Seriously, this is the best you can do, in this thread. No defence of Martin, no defence of the CWU, no attack on the points made?

Get the CWU told. It's only taking this position because it's doing what it wants and not what the workers want. Every single worker can make a difference. Every rep that's get told has a chance to fight back.

I stopped paying my subs after the last strike action. CWU are leading us into an unmitigated disaster, 90% of the reps I have known over the years are only in it for themselves.

Nothing stopping you telling the rep what you think. They need to hear it because you are not the only one whose opposing the CWU plans.

Speak to your local or area rep. We had a queue of posties lining up after the last sham of an agreement.

The only defence I have ever made of Martin or the CWU is that they are less full of s**t than you are.
