There are people that are not part of the Union and the one I am referring to stopped being part of the Union even before I started working for RM. He can handle himself - that is just the fact!

We don't all have to be the same or act like a pack or even in this case like sheep. We have people threatening others and usually a vocal minority telling most what they should think or do...

When you have a postman on close to 40k a year by working almost every day and doing loads of overtime, I think job security matters to him more than the change in terms and conditions that will not even affect him that much... Is it working Sundays - check. Sick pay - check (rarely off sick - ergo working 7 days). Allowances - maybe but doubt it. SISO - check. Annualised hours - so what?

£40k man is not allowed to work 7 days.

Not only is it RM policy it is UK employment law and not “opt-out’able” (contrary to popular belief)

I was inferring the fact of the matter in a passed post they will control you by tactics next thing they will get you to scan them out this is just wrong ! Well the only way to reach out is to speak out and tell others well the options are union rep, manager but they may colloud against you . But you could call the bulling and harassment helpline on 0800 5874777 They may take action more so than if it was a manager! It is a shity situation to be in that is for sure my best wishes and never stay silent speak out.

And that is the irony. You just can't reach these people or their mentality. One in ours who crossed is one who belts around to finish early for the school run. Another who crossed regularly works Sundays for the enhanced rate.

Just can't get it through to them that by crossing the picket they are voting for the very attacks on their t&c's that will affect them most.

Or is it that the fully understand and happily let others fight for them?

Respect to the agency drivers at our mail centre who won't be going through the picket line and going to work Thursday day/night.

And they definetly need the money as some only get on 2 nights or days at best a week.
