I swear that the council have turned the entire area into a giant ice rink, slipped and slid in bits but was clear in others

ps. the spikeys are no good in that ice, all they did was give false hope and a lot of pain in the feet.

Put them on OVER your shoes with the spikes POINTING DOWN.
We had a lot of people in our office who made the same mistake as you.

Did 3 days of mail in 1 day yesterday and 2 days in 1 day today!

Left a load of packets as I just couldn't fit them in the bags, got extra vans due to Christmas Pressure, but they aren't denting the back-log of packets!

Aye, -14 here first thing! just for fun, I took my thermometer out, and took my temprature after 20 minutes out, it had dropped by 1.1/2 degrees! the one good thing about getting out a later is that at least it's starting to warm up just a litte!

:Very Happy Ha. Even you'd have a job 'chasing 'anybody around with the snow and ice under foot! Truly, due to a thyroid disorder,my normal body temperature is below the average anyway, so another degree or so, and I really feel it. and because you can't walk at speed in this weather to generate heat, it's nasty!

I suppose you could sit the office fridge to warm up (if you have one).

Freezing weather, 2 yorks of packets, missort run and a 3PM finish. If I had a cat I'd kick it.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.
