Yes, left the bike helmet in the carrier. Got back to the bike to find the foam helmet lining soaked. Rode back without the helmet and was spotted by a shiny arsed screw. Guess who is in for an investigatory interview on Tuesday? It should be a laugh! :dance

I think there is a good case for helmets being hazardous in wet conditions as they channel rainwater onto your face and ruin vision and concentration- particularly bad if you wear glasses - therefore helmet should be removed to enhance chances of survival.

Cheers mate. As it happens I do wear glasses and even those little visors don't keep the rain off them, let alone water running from the helmet. This prick is after a few brownie points. He stands and watches blokes carrying two bags out to their cars and watches them load up theor car boots on the landing, not one of them wearing a high-visibility vest. I think I might have a case for victimisation.

Never mind how was my day! How about my sh*te week!!! First I fell down a wet, moss covered path that a resident never seems to clear, thanx a bunch! Then to make matters worse, the very next day, I manage to drive my van into a rising automatic ramp! OUCH! I took out the bumper, sump, radiator, water pump and they had to take a closer look at the gearbox. :d'oh! The dum had made savings of about £4,000, so I suppose he can kiss goodbye to £2,500 of that now.

LIFE'S A BITCH, AIN'T IT!

Ps It was not an act of wilful damage, given the ppresent circumstances, just damn unlucky timing! :d'oh!

I had to go in about not wearing my helmet. Me and the sub-rep couldn't stop laughing. It's obvious the screw's mind (if that's the word for it) was made up. Anyway, we gave shiny arse a tough half hour. He's very highly strung and his bottle was going, especially once the sub-rep mentioned the 'V' word. I couldn't stop laughing all morning. I wish I had a recording of it. Dear me, these screws are dense.

I don't mind bringing a bit of excitement to his otherwise hum-drum life.

Did anyone here see the new scanning devices, they are attached to the wrist with the laser scanner attached to the middle finger (looks like something the BORG would use in Star Trek). They will be so easily broken the first time it rains or you brush you wrist against a door/gate etc. and you will not be able to wear a watch (because it's on the left wrist) and what will happen if someone forgets to charge them.

I really can't wait for this to happen :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana :nana
