Saturday was my day off so I watched the 4x100m relay teams fail in their heats and then went to the zoo where surprisingly some of the animals were awake and moving.

Heavy days for the last 3. Thursday and Saturday were both busy last week. My postie told me Friday wasn't good either. Today was loaded with flats. Strangely, there were hardly any packets.

Well tues was really light so once again i knew we would suffer today and i was not wrong.
The worst bit was i had finished the round with just a few light showers staying mostly dry and then had to drive 11 miles to do my absorbtion where it was really chucking down. I did two roads and a close getting very wet which left me 3 parcels but as i was running out of time i left them in the van and drove back to the office.
I was going to bring the parcels to a managers attention but surprise, surprise they had all long gone home. So i placed them in a york and left about 2 mins over my time.

Day from hell today.. Got i cleared down at 0615 not too much mech for a Thursday. There was loads and loads for IPS sorting, which we were off at 0755. Then came the sting - crappy Dominos Pizza leaflets that were DSA for EVERY door (557 drops) and loads of packets. First letter delivered at 1025 and last by 1350, no time for absorbtion again (2 days running) and I will be booking 30 mins excess! Those runners and panickers that were in 45 mins early probably weren't done much before me after they'd done their absorbtion!

Hammered with flats. Letters and packets were both quiet. Did a bit of lapsing further down the same main road, which fitted in nicely. Will be claiming an hour tomorrow.

Had a chat with the DOM today
More absorption on the way due to mbrs making so much time which cant be explained away from early starts and no MR.
Still they canm allways say sorry Guv I cutting off today, but they wont as that would mean working to their time as having J and F and cutting off would be a wee bit tricky.
RML have got them hook line and sinker, prats!!!!!

Sats fly in the ointment was the Arsenal white boxes which were quite heavy. I must have had 20 some of which were 3 to a house

I was in a benevolent mood on Saturday and took all those white Arsenal boxes in the van for the guys I drop off. I must be getting better at this job too; I wasn't the last one back to the DO on Saturday!krussel wrote:Sat.

I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.
