We had the area rep down, cwu h&s rep down, they had a meeting with our h&s rep and the managers. It was decided that one person would come in prep both walks and take out half of the 2 walks, so half of one walk and half of the other plus specials and parcels. You got out and deliver, complete and get the following day off. The other person would come in the following day prep both walks again and take the 2 halves that didn't go the day before plus specials and parcels. Rinse and repeat. This is the proposal for the majority of staff. So person A works Mon, Weds, Fri one week person B works Tues, Thurs, Sat then change so person A does person B and person B does person A.
If that makes sense?
So effectively your taking double mail every other day but getting every other day off and theres one person per 2 frames keeping the distancing down. Apparently that's how it's working in another office local to us.

And all this was a few days after the cwu h&s rep came to look at our operation and all that was done upon his visit was a one way system was put in place.
