it's a common tactic forecast doom and gloom, lots of bad things to happen, buried in there is the real intention, my bet 6hr delivery span, so when you are all worried about everything else it doesn't seem so bad when 6 out of those 7 things don't happen just the one that they wanted in first place, usually the manager doing it not the area rep but I think you have same ara rep as Han solo who was also spouting the same rubbish so ignore it and fight any changes with the ir process
If the RM wants to do something, they don't actually need any sort of agreement with anyone, that's why the place is the way it is. The Union conveys the concerns of the workforce, they don't actually have any power to stop anything if the RM wants to push an idea through it will eventually go though in some form.
