I have just found out from whistle neighbour of mine that their union had just negotiated a 30 hour contract for the staff ???
seems dodgy ?
goodish news for Royalmail but will they employ staff NOW to help with rising mail volumes ?
and what about savings ? they don't need to make any now ?

no......we had a revision for park an loop before tnt/whistl came,,,,,yea the work load dropped a bit....junk mail mostly,,,,and we havnt had any kind of revision whilst there here so I imagine in the coming weeks mail will rise slightly again and we`ll be back to were we were this time last year before them

You're serious aren't you? I don't take any pleasure in bursting your bubble m8. RM management will expect you to do even more . Everything will stay exactly the same. Maximise the profit. Mail still decreasing, competition etc.
