This really is f***ing pathetic from them.
It sounds like either some offices are asking for 100% (which is impossible) or people haven't been trying to get rid at all (as plenty have said on here) and are now getting hit for it.

Exactly,I can't see a problem,in fact I would go one further and say that the people who get back early should be sent out with the loop's that have been left,we left 4 loops today.BarnsleyLackey wrote:Let the idiots trying for early finishes be sent back out. Everyone else, if you've time to spare at the end, drive back to the Tracked addresses and try again...up to time. Then take em back.

Many of the people on rurals posting in here seem to 'safeplace' everything anyway.Lounge Lizard wrote:"without a great deal of extra effort" - so not a rural delivery with the nearest neighbour half a mile away then ?OnAFlyer wrote:What im saying is we hit 95% without a great deal of extra effort, we certainly don't go knocking all over the road or get quizzed when we bring one back.POSTMAN wrote:They can ask for whatever % they want, but surely this just boils down to who is in.

Obviously if the nearest neighbour is 1/2 mile away then you have two choices. 1) The sensible option which is you 739 the item unless a Safeplace is printed on the label. Or 2) The managers know how far apart the houses are, so you tell them you're happy to DTN but you'll be cutting off at your finish time.
It's not rocket science is it.

Has this been agreed by Bob Gibson?
I work nights and the last thing I want is someone banging on my door waking me up with a packet that's for someone 4 doors away
Sooner or later a post person will get assaulted by a member of the public and then watch Royal Mail revue the situation
