I think we're all being a bit over sensitive for a Sunday.
Unless Plum has a meaning i'm not aware of(which is possible these days) it isn't the worst name to be called.

Having had many disagreements with my Area Rep over the years(and called him names to his face including bawbag) I do understand that it can be difficult and frustrating when the relationship breaks down however Clash is right in that you do have to ignore personal feelings and try to have a working relationship.

It's part and parcel of being a rep,dealing with people you don't particularly like on a personal level.

A plum is also a person who is a symbol of peace. There are the Bloods, who are red, and the Crips, who are blue, and then there are the Plums, who are purple (a combination of the two, if you will).
Plums are also ultra fly people who spend their time being stared at for their pure beauty and awesomeness. They rarely say stupid things and are farther away from the previous (idiotic) definition of "a short fat kid" than the Earth is from the sun.
Also though a Plum is a person who does a stupid action or says something stupid.

Bang on mate i will never kiss anyones arse or be in the managers pocket and I certainly don't want to be like that I'm for fairness not jolly ups, my rep already said to me the union in my area is close knit, I knew it was a brotherhood maybe their worried I'll expose something lmfao

Obviously hit a nerve there. Well divisional reps are on good money and full release so we should expect some sort of service for our 155 quid a year we pay into the union

I think if Area Reps and Branches had been doing their job properly HQ wouldn't have needed to send out a bullying & harassment survey directly to members last year.
That survey should have been a wake up call that the "hierarchy" wasn't working in some,if not all areas.

Relying on a structure only works if you can rely on that structure to work and I think there is enough evidence to suggest that it doesn't always and members are more and more contacting HQ directly or even worse from the union's point of view...contacting Moya through the justsayit email address instead.

Of course we need a structure but it has to work and there has to be some disincentive for branches to bury problems internally and if that means members bypassing branch and moving directly to the next stage then that's surely a good thing if it flags up problems at branch level.

I'm not saying that is what's happening in this case,we don't know the details but it is an issue with the branch structure.

Oh yes well when I meet the area rep sometime soon apparently and I'm still not happy then yes the Div Rep will be getting another email to TRY and get things done properly as they say

Well clash i really have got your back up, sorry if to sound like im in for the gentleman club but i heard you got paid for being a rep I don't want to be mistreated by not getting paid to do it if others are maybe I should have said that too my mistake, obviously i have been mistold the truth and the perks like full release when im told its only 2 hours a day, and still not doing their duty and going home early. How is asking the div rep who sort of know kissing arse? and the champion of fairness I'd be the first
