Definition of 75Bs (International Labour Office):

“Steady, deliberate, unhurried performance, as of a worker not on piecework but under proper supervision; looks slow, but time is not intentionally being wasted while under observation” (italics mine)

According to our managers the computer is full of s**t and we are being asked to take more mail!! When questioned that everyone is using the national tool (computer) nationwide, I was laughed out of the office and told to flex all 6 days even with over 1000 calls plus D2D's AND told no overtime will be paid!!

Tell him bollox, you cant get a pint measure into a half pint glass. When you are ready to tie up, and you think you cant complete, then ask your line manager for his advice, if he insists you can complete and you know you cant then go see your rep. If all else fails just deliver what you can, "without rushing" within your time and bring the rest back. They cant sack you for doing the job right. If he asks you to throw it back into your frame and you have enough time then do it, if not don't.If the same thing happens the next day then repeat the process, and keep repeating it until he gets the message, oh, and don't forget the d2d , they hate it when I sit there and put mine in, but there aint feck all they can do. But don't rush round trying to make it work, just do the job to RM guidelines....simples ...good luck
I married my wife for her looks, but not the one she gave me when i said i was going to be a postman.

Don't carry more than one pod of mail , don't drag two or three packetbags to your fitting. If you rush around now, you will spend the rest of your working life rushing around, and it aint that easy. Also be prepared for bullying and loads of grief of the dims and doms. So best of luck, cos you are gonna need it :Very Happy :Very Happy
Sensible advice that 90% of my former(ish) office simply would not follow.
