F/T start at 6.15 and P/T come in at 7.30 and the F/T has to throw off both rounds walksorted on P/L until the P/T comes in otherwise he will be over an hour behind his partner.

Re: Part time hours on full time rounds
This part time malarkey in Royal Mail 'on paper' is the bollox...
4hrs daily, pop in pick up and out,all indoor work absorbed, job done.
5hrs daily, pop in finish off and out, most indoor work absorbed, job done.
6hrs daily,pop in,do the prep and other stuff and out,IPS absorbed,job done.
In reality we know it's a f***ing sham.
Part time contracts are given willy nilly with no regard to what will actually happen,or the office stats, job's a gooden.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

...and then they steal it back. Never tells you he isn't going to pay it, which I am repeatedly told he can't do. My o/t has been docked 3 out of the last 4 weeks. He's getting the round done on the cheap and then shafts me again! The lastest is his boss is insisting we agree with the dom how much o/t we are going to claim before we go out. It's an absolute disgrace the way we are treated.....bandit650 wrote:POSTMAN wrote:This part time malarkey in Royal Mail 'on paper' is the bollox...

Ask your DIM how he feels about how much mail you cant take out because unless you have it in writing signed with his blood the mail won't be go any where, only it is not good to not pay staff as his wages and bonus relies on his office being clear.
