In Moya Greene’s words “The frequency with which employees are asked to cover the routes of colleagues in the case of absence often causes a great deal of strain in the day to day workings of many delivery offices. I agree it is timely and appropriate for the business to revisit the guidelines that have been deployed in these areas.” I think we can all agree on that one and we will endeavour to agree a form of words that provide sensible and fair guidance on this contentious issue.
