why no resign ?

We haven`t had a full resign in our office for over 15 years, even on the last one, a piece of paper was brought around with walks and who was signed to them on it and you had to tell the gaffer if you wanted to stay on it or pick another from a list, so, if you were signed to something pucka you could stay on it, suffice to say the other list comprised of walks 4 hours plus or estate`s where dogs roam in packs.

I don't know if there is anything specific or if its left up to local agreement, but offices around here have both types.

FT/PT contracts specific to individuals, and FT/PT duties specific to the duty.

Are there such things as part time and full time `walks`?, all walks are supposed to be equal in length in our office the only difference is full timers do ips and part timers do not, but, only recently I have been told that I can`t sign for a walk that I have been taking for 15 months, because I am full time and it suddenly has been classed as a `part time` walk?, I`m mad and confused.

I know how you feel DICK43 as I am part time who had a round for 3 years but at resign (post revision 2010) it became a 'full time duty'; there were no changes to the duty at all.
