LWT's were brought in for H&S, not to speed up our deliveries, on that basis they can't take them away just because they have realised they slow us down. I knew the day would come when managers try this tactic to get rid of trolleys, as fishtank posted, if you are using bags again then you revert back to 3.5 hr delivery.
Will see if i can find a copy of what i saw the other week. It was a Q&A sheet for WTL. In it it states that trolleys must be used at all times . It even went on to say that if you only had 1 bundle then you still had to use a trolley so that you could not sort mail whilst walking. So basically trolleys are mandatory with the only exceptions being if it is being delivered to flats or out of the van.
I know. Managers have also told us if it will go in a bag carry it. Because it wont get done on time any otherway. Yet you can still get conduct coded for it so be carefull.

dont do it then, your DOM will show no mercy when they are looking to reduce numbers.
do the job propperly, its the only way to work now.

I have received a very supportive e mail from Noel McClean who has also passed the matter to Mr Gibson, he says that it is becoming more common.

Unbelievable!!!!! When one of you have a factfinding interview with your DOM to find out why You had a pouch on your back please dont ask your union rep to represent you!!!!!
