Whats up with late weekly payslips???

For the last 2 or 3 weeks the payslips have not arrived on Thursday as per usual. Last week I received the payslip on Saturday and now this week it has not even arrived by Tuesday.

We saw a smattering of payslips in the delivery today. This is pretty bad if we cannot deliver our own mail in time.

What is going on? This has actually been a licence for some unscrupulous (delivery managers) not to pay overtime or delay paying overtime and/or hoping the staff will not notice or challenge them because any mistakes found will mean the underpayment will not be paid for 2 weeks.

Our manager does not actually need this delay because he just doesnt pay the staff correctly either by omission or commision... SHAME!!!

Anybody else experiencing delayed payslips?

Got mine today, only to find im 15 hours short :shock: and a back-payment of 30 hours hasn't been paid either :no no
Looks like i'll be using my credit card to help with bills then :Boo hoo!

Will be demanding an advance of 65% of what i'm owed tomorrow, been advised by HR could take at least 2 weeks to process monies owed RE contractual hours(Been paid 25hrs/wk instead of 30 for 6 weeks since started)

Lets hope Mr.Student Loans company doesn't take any off me :chuckle

As long as the money goes into the bank then what's the rush? Just sort out the OT they haven't paid you after Christmas (as I've said on many a time, get yourself a diary and record all your OT in it).
