A new starter walked in this morning took one look at the trays of mech and handed in his notice there and then.

Was supposed to be spare; but of course someone was sick. So , picked up a walk that had half of it with four days mail.

Rammed with packets and mail. Got out at 10:45.

Thought; yes I can clear this and finish by about 3pm.

Lost the will to live at 2pm and brought back three bags and loads of packets.

Actually on reflection. Lost the will to live at 10:45.
:Very Happy How often we all lose the will to live on this job! It used to be good! Are you retiring?

Ive seen this before. The best was a young lad who actually legged it down the road. I saw him go as i was out on a part of my delivery and when i got back i asked what happened and was told he had popped out to move his car. He did not have a car :left:

I started at 5am and finished at 2pm. Took out: 3 mech trays, 3 ips trays, a tray of flats, 2 drop bags and about 25 parcels inc traked. Not too bad really but later in the week
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

lol classic! One of our new starts was put onto his own round just after the cancelled deliveries with days worth of mail overflowing from the fittings. But he seems to have just got on with it and said to me today the job wasnt too bad! My lino should break out a drug testing kit i rekon :chuckle
