Everybody on here has them at their office.
And everybody on here will know they are the ones who shout and cry the loudest when they have to do that liddle bit extra or changes come in.
I have them at my place, they wanked themseves sore when i got them the 4 day week, and they cried like babies on the FIRST day when they had to sort that little bit extra!
Too many w*****s in the job,yes management are bad,but our colleagues can sometimes be worse.
The chasers have been long gone here - remember the work your hours - well we do and have done for years. Certainly for the last 3 years and the reason is quite simple, over 40% of the office is part time and are expected to complete a 3.5 hour delivery, throw it off and prep it. the IPS is done by fewer and fewer staff, overtime is at an all time low.
The problem is the rules are different from office to office and the support sporadic at best.
Funny as f**k at times you two, please don't take offence, but purlease.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

You see postman, you live in the same world as dingo, who because of your geographical location have absolutely no idea what it is like in the real world - time chasers - purlease, most postmen in real offices have a job to complete the assigned tasks within the time allowed - that's misapprehension that we all have ten hour days with 2 hour deliveries and two days SA/OT.

So what antiquated working practices go on in your office dvbuk, seeing as you are an expert on them and all your colleagues work to there time I'm sure they would be proud of you telling them that 2010 doesn't go far enough
Bravery isn’t not being afraid. Bravery is being afraid but doing it anyway
Oh dear what have I started?
Actually I've learned quite a bit here and added to what I've picked up at work I've made my decision. Thanks for the advice and opinion.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

Well antiquated working practices aren't quite the same as not working to your time - we have nothing to fear on that score but there are organisational problems that need to be rectified - which may or may not come with revisions but the real changes will come on privatisation - and then the little piggies will squeal

Squeal? blimey mate you've been doing that for the last five months, I like to think when my time comes for the guillotine, I'll take it like a man, of course that's only if it's quick and painless

The swish of the blade will be only too swift - it is the prolonged period before sentence is passed that will be painful, all those little perks snipped away little by little - until, rather than the tumbril, it will be a headlong sprint to her ladyship

Been on this site for 4 years in Aug,i'm well aware of what is going on around the country.
And if you look back you will see that i critised dingo when he 1st came on,i pointed out to him that us in London have it no where as bad as those outside.(we didn't/don't roll rem?)
There are timechasers everywhere and it is very much evident in the forums and from those who i know personally outside the streets of gold.
Your office does not have them, does not mean it's the same everywhere,my office has 2hr walks and loads of SA/OT,doesn't mean.........

Biting there Pmn? Methinks he doth protest too much. The office I work in isn't in isolation, the whole of this area works to the same regime - there simply isn't time to chase time.
