I have a nasty suspicion the they're just sent to landfill which defeats the whole purpose of the exercise.
A while ago I had a load of boxes of bulbs (over 400  ), some of which were for demolished houses. Obviously I killed them off and returned them, then a couple of weeks later I had another box come through for all the demolished houses again. I returned them again and a couple of weeks later in came another batch!

It was as though the company didn't believe the houses were gone and kept sending them back out when returned - despite me writing 'demolished in 2007' on the boxes!

3 bags of them on thursday and we had 4 days to get rid.
On the 4th day i got another half a bag so luckily i've got another few days to get rid.
2 full bags of normal packets each day on top and i'm almost close to tears.
If that marine thought it was bad pulling a small trolley about and delivering leaflets, what would he say about that.
I know how Andy McNab felt now carrying his 14 stone Bergen through a freezing cold Iraq.

I haven't touched any of those crappy lightbulbs yet, and won't do until after Christmas. Giving posties those shitty lightbulbs, with that crappy company TNT's logo in the corner where there should be a RM one, and at the busiest time of year what with record numbers of parcels, packets flooding DOs, is a piss-take too far. :evil/mad
