CWU London Division calls for national strike action

All off our office went out and we are distribution drivers. All of the problems seem to be on delivery and most of the local delivery offices in our area went in during the strike so why should we loose more money supporting them who worked? And they still come in early and use their cars, and yes they are CWU members.

this will do for a start mr global (many thanks to swoosta)
when someone from london explains why they want to strike personally, and not because they are following the herd i may have empathy for them. however i will not be bullied or put on a guilt trip to support something at present i dont believe in. i have supported every single strike in my career and will do in the future, i would never cross a picket line whether i am in favour of the action or not. D.O postman gained a hell of a lot with the way forward agreement, i along with my colleagues lost a hell of a lot, maybe its time for them to share the pain we have endured for the last 10 years in other parts of the business

no mr hurlock i am not i am a hard working opg who prefers not go back on strike to support the london lot

One born every second! I am sure that The London Lot as you so lovingly refer to us will be gutted that people like you want to work

Mr hard working OPG just be prepared to work a lot harder and longer in the future for a lot less.

my eyes are wide open Tezza and i agree that i may have to work a lot harder and longer, i am prepared to do this in order to pay my mortgage and support my family if this is what eventually happens, however may i remind you that our union are still negotiating, nothing has been settled yet.

Doesn't matter how many times you ask, that 's a difficult question,far too near the knuckle and would require an honest response The only audience they target is the "one born every minute brigade" :mfo

try to cheer up a little my kind friend all is not lost, i was told by a senior chappy the best way to feel good when you are feeling sorry for yourself is to help someone less fortunate , maybe you could try this . please dont take this as preaching i am just trying to help you, i hope and pray you get what you ask for and i wish you lots of prosperity in the future
