As far as 'doing the job properly' goes, I don't think you necessarily need 100% participation in an office to make it work. There must be a tipping point where it starts to hit home - for arguments sake, say 3/4 of the staff doing job correctly. I dunno?
Lets not worry about percentages, we all know right from wrong. It's just time to be true to yourself,All you can do is your bit,no reproach no personal recrimination ,be true to yourself and have no cause for self loathing, you know the score :Very Happy Karma :chuckle
Totally agree. I was just thinking practicalities. There are always going to be a few that start early, work through breaks and so on.
there is a small percentage that is not following DJP, I'm sure one or two is sneaking round corner to pick up their cars, mind as was said before the tipping point is well over the minimum required, we are having an effect and its causing chaos. :dance

With so much going on just now I would have thought that you two would have more important things to worry about than me pointing out you were spouting nonsense in another thread.

Sorry, I thought that was the idea of a forum; you know, someone posts a comment and someone else replies? All a bit pointless otherwise...

The Topic Title is "Work to Rule" and this thread has not only gone off topic, it isn't funny and its becoming personal and bitchy.

Please lets get back on Topic and stop baiting each other . Thanks.

D2d are part of your contracted duties afterall ! and within duty time, as long as u spread it more or less evenly over the week the managers cant touch ya.

D2D,s are extra cash, we all hate doin them, but if they insist we do them ...do them they should take aroud 20/30 mins to prepair, so less mail goes out....HAPPY DAYS :Very Happy and its great seeing managers not hav,in a clue what 2 do with all the back log of MAIL......There must be 2/3 days mail sitting in trays around my fitting. :cuppa chill its great

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
