Guess you have not read the Guardian or the mirror but as they are probably too left wing for your politics I am not surprised.

does that include the london members of the CWU that have now been out on strike for over 10 days , the Daily Mail article is about as accurate as your statement- muppet

Next it'll be "we can only win". To be fair, the press could have a field day with some of the comments on here.

And they probably will, now a "journalist" has found a way to "see" RM worker's views.

How long before they publish certain comments verbatim? Doubtless they'll choose the most controversial to paint a picture, but sadly we'll all be then viewed as illiterate pseudo-Wolfies fighting Capitalist oppression.

That should drop the CWU's popularity even more with the chattering classes...

The "average Daily Telegraph reader" wouldn't care if the facts were stuck right under they're noses. Most of 'em read that rag because they are vehemently anti-unions anyway, and would not be in the slightest bit interested as to what brings a menial worker to sacrifice their pay in order to stand up for a principle.

what do you suggest the workers do then , enlighten us ? there is no doubt that some posties have gotten away with certain practices in the past ,often the managers were happy to offer up certain deals, it certainly happened in my MC. now this does not happen, there are no carrots dangled anywhere. many people will say this is how it should be, but equally why should any one do extra work and not receive the rewards. tell me also having read the Daily Mail and other publications, how can these comments not be classed as any other than an attack against a certain section of the working class? . shall we just roll over and accept the bare minimum ?

One worker boasted on the chat website how he wasted time by filling in "739" forms – which tell a resident who is not at home that they have a parcel to collect – while still at the sorting office, rather than on the doorstep once once he had checked whether the recipient was at home.
Who said this,if anything IT SAVES TIME!!
I actually quoted this in a post I wrote about people deliberately wasting time. I can't remember who originally posted it, but he said he wrote 739's out as 'it wasted more sorting time', whilst boasting about cutting off.

It only saves time if nobody is home, that's irrelevant though as what the paper quoted is correct. Most posties do the job properly, but there are quite a few on here that revel in the fact they're not completing and it's hardly good publicity.

I couldn't care less what posties have or haven't got away with in the past, or whether the Mail or any other paper "attack the working class" (whoever "they" may be, in the 21st century). My point was following on from NT's in that this so-called journo will now selectively quote bits from here (RMC) when he wants to write another shock-horror expose, and when he does, there's some real juicy quotes he'll doubtless use.
Still, this paragraph-
Daily Mail and other publications, how can these comments not be classed as any other than an attack against a certain section of the working class?

when has it been any different ,it depends what side of the fence you sit on , the Daily Mail has always attacked RM workers. they will attack the workers regardless of what they read on here !!!!

Indeed, but nothing quite like a ready-made source for quotes. Pick a thread at random.
