But frankly I couldnt give a toss if the customer isnt happy about not being in monday - friday to accept parcels, if they order them then they should make arrangements to be in, or send it to the local post office for 50p, or collect from DO before they start work if item is dispatched.
If they expect parcels they should live at one of those addresses out in the country where the doors don't have locks or letter boxes - you just open the door and put letters and parcels on the kitchen table, and pour yourself a nice cup of coffee if it's a quiet day.
Is there anywhere left, that's like that?

97 gaz and Andy2007.....never mind saying am SAD ....TO BE LOSING JOBS,.........when if you new me , you,d no that i got jobs 4 the lads ..improved P/T HOURS, AND BEEN A FECKIN PAIN IN THE NECK 4 the Dim.....never surrgested losing jobs,it meant these lads would go,......which isnt exceptable, but the way R/M ARE GOING jobs will go, even if we dont have a monday - friday...(full timers leaving and part timers coming in).....meaning workload being much greater 4 all....

Perhaps its your punctuation because I read your original post in the same way. This is why we suggest using ordinary English as there is less likely to be any confusion.

I edited your 2nd post as it was a clear invitation for a flame war and RMC does not want threads hijacked by them.

RM wont just go and "get rid" of floaters, jobs will be cut due to natural wastage and EVR and you'd have your own duty 5 days a week instead of 5 different ones.

I wouldnt worry about it anyway if youre in your 50's, by the time they bring anything like this in you'll be pissing yourself and forgetting your name every half hour.

Could you please clarify what you meant to say?
Because as TBT, and 97Gaz have pointed out: Judging by your original post. It appeared that you weren't particularly bothered that jobs would go. You have, of course said that, that wasn't what you meant. But now, I have no idea what you were trying to say. So perhaps now is a good time to "put your cards on the table", eh?

Aye, coffee, crumpet and drying all your clothes in front of the open fire if it's a stormy morning. :Very Happy
