Everybody out!!!!
It's ok. Although the person I quoted, is either a Postie, or an incredible actor. I've been on PMC off and on for some time now, and have seen several posts from the same person. And I've never suspected anything dodgy.

The reason I provided the link, and quotes. Was because those who are considering Strike Breaking, are highly unlikley to admit it on here. :hmmmm So I was pointing out that although they are a tiny minority (in my experience). There are those, who are so disilusioned, that although they Striked in '07. They are seriously considering crossing the lines this time.

It's a truly depressing thought. But, we need to face the facts. And try to persuade these doubters, that there is still a point to Striking. And that if too many people cross the lines. RM will see it as a further sign of weakness in the CWU, and accelerate their attacks on our service, and working conditions. :hmmmm

 Yip--I agree in our office yhe ones who crossed the line in tha past have left, but many people who would have done so in the past, are now 'coming out' and I feel they mean it too.

I was not in the union for the last strikes and therfore worked through them (worked is a bit strong, it basically meant drinking coffee all day with a few specials to deliver in between).

If we have a local strike or a national in the future i'll be first on the picket line you can guarantee that. And the sooner it happens the better as RM need to be told once and for all, unfortunately there are alot of new starters in our office that don't even come to union meetings or support doing the job properly and I expect many of them will work through any future strikes as they are already working every hour the dom asks of them to make up there hours to as near as full as possible.

We got eaten alive by midges on the picket line during the last strike, bloody murder :evil/mad

I'm dreading the financial implications of a strike TBH but that wont stop me being on the picket line every day if(when) it comes to it.

I was just told that RM are planning to bring in 15 posties from midlands (for 33 duties) in my office to break the strike. It just makes you despair about human nature. What kind of person takes all the money that CWU have fought for and then dumps on all their workmates who fight to get a better deal for all. Just stinks. Anyone in the midlands know if this is true?

Royal Mail keep quacking on about teamwork and yet take any opportunity to split and divide/rule the workforce.
