oh yeah should have added out of 5 van duties we will lose probably 4
still to be confirmed as to whether a 'packet' duty will be added
we have an early call van who later does part of a walk.
that walk will be gone so dont know how early calls will be handled

then you have the issue of areas with businesses that are no van calls for example
near my present delivery we have a full 'street' which is just industrial units and a specific van duty
To be honest it's exactly the same as mine but a small trading estate rather than a street. Taking that on would be too much.
We lost 3 bulk van duties when they started park and loop - small industrial estates added to the existing duties - you see with 2 people doing 45 minutes each extra that means 1.5 hours extra delivery.
something else that was also mentioned was exactly this, the ''extra forty five min'', DUM could not see that it was like you said 1.5 hr!!!!.... Doh!! :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

Why should you need a National Agreement on this, it seems a good idea and yet the CWU want to poke their nose in everything. This is not about H&S. Let management get on with it. Not to mention the CWU not letting in new machinary at certain sites.

Yes of course there is a place for the CWU, but not in everyday meddling.
Don't vote all your rights out the door.

because RM operate in panic mode and cock everything up :d'oh! - secondly it's team working , starburst regurgitated , RM 's idea of team working is divisive and destructive . People didn't go on strike in 96 for nothing :arrrghhh

it's the union's job to find things wrong and boy do RM get it wrong and that's what people pay subs for :mad
