We can trust the CWU and RM eh, next up will be 8-9;hour days - commit to deliver or be disciplined - then the glorious bank hours, which you can do nothing with - no time off or any £ ever. Sure the new CEO of IDs will appoint lovely chaps to run this Titanic of a company. Glad you voted yes ?

Maybe its split then 12 mins at start 12 mins at end (for ft)Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑19 Jul 2023, 21:16They've been very sneaky in not explicitly saying where the variation is however in the Q&A section it says..funkflex55 wrote: ↑19 Jul 2023, 21:00Had a look at the documents and cannot see when the hours are changed. As in do we start earlier or finish earlier or start later or finish later? And the 10 minutes change for a part timer is going to make so little difference it's pointless. A bit like this whole BS idea..
There will be no change to your finishing time under Seasonal Variation, apart from in summer when you will finish 10 minutes earlier, this will apply to all FT and PT OPGs.

1.2.4 The first deployment of seasonal variation will be in Autumn 2023 and will require the
additional time to be worked before the standard duty current start times. The impact
of this will be reviewed to assess if it creates issues such as instances of running out
of work between wave 1 and wave 2 arrivals impacting indoor productivity.
1.2.5 In the first summer period 2024 the reduction in time for part timers will be at the end
of the duty enabling an earlier finish (by 10 mins). In order to keep shared van finish
times aligned the full timer finish time will also be 10 mins earlier and the start time
will be 14 mins later. This will also be reviewed after the initial pilot to see if the full
reduction in time can be from the end of the duty.

Not seen any mention anywhere yet on how it's going to be implemented/work in MCs and RDCs or is it only ever going to be in DOs?

Remember to keep us informed, personally I can't see RM letting one OPG with some "bottle" being allowed to just carrying on working their normal hours, as if they make one exception then every other OPG will be demanding similar treatment.

Nothing to do with bottle, more to do with being dismissed, but sure if you are happy, go for it.heraldmoth wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 16:44Won’t require luck, simply more bottle than has been shown over the last 18 months by someLouBarlow wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 04:59Good luck with that.heraldmoth wrote: ↑19 Jul 2023, 22:01Personally I simply won’t be working for free if I’m working 39 I want paid for the 39 if I’m working 35 they can pay me that amount as and when
I’m going to attempt to work my preferred hours of 6-12 like in the ‘good old days’. Wish me luck too.

Good luck dismissing someone for refusing to work for free, in what world does that stack up? if they want seasonal hours I’ll work and get payed for 39 in the winter and work and get payed for 35 in the summer, not have this farting around like a crackhead looking something for nothing

You are refusing to work your contracted hours. At best you will have pay docked, at worst you will be conduct coded and out the door. Bottle isn’t enough to prevent this. Sorry.heraldmoth wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 21:43Good luck dismissing someone for refusing to work for free, in what world does that stack up? if they want seasonal hours I’ll work and get payed for 39 in the winter and work and get payed for 35 in the summer, not have this farting around like a crackhead looking something for nothing

If your not getting Paid at work then are all insurances not null and void? like when driving your van insurance, or public liabilityheraldmoth wrote: ↑20 Jul 2023, 21:43Good luck dismissing someone for refusing to work for free, in what world does that stack up? if they want seasonal hours I’ll work and get payed for 39 in the winter and work and get payed for 35 in the summer, not have this farting around like a crackhead looking something for nothing
this is why we cant drive RM vans out side of working hours?
