I will wait and see.

But if it's not a big improvement on RM's last "offer" I will vote no.

Are you really expecting a big improvement on last offer.

If its voted down, what happens?
Does the company fold with the loss of 140,000 jobs?

Next time read the ballot paper as the wording can be confusing yes or no is not always as it says in the wording they use!
But look forward to find out what this deal is they must of moved in the last few days so will give the benefit of time and see what has changed and if I can vote for it myself!

It will be a good deal in the circumstances but as the circumstances are dire the agreement will be seen as dire.
There are certain things the union, for all their bluster, had no control over.
RM needs to be subsidised, either by government or by GLS. That isn't going to happen any more so the transition from a letter business to a parcel business will be painful for many.
The ending of the use of planes will mean later arrivals of ail in DOs and consequently later start and finish times.
As I said the union have no control over that. It isn't their business to run.

Had they not overpromised at the start I think more people would have been more accepting of the final deal.
It will probably be worse terms and conditions. It will probably be a pay cut (when inflation is factored in)
I can't wait to read the full 30 pages.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Thank goodness for that :nana .
Why? You have no idea what is in the negotiator's agreement.

I doubt there's much to celebrate, but again I don't know.

We have to see it.
I don't see the point of throwing good money after bad, we gave it a good go and continuing would result in a Pyrrhic victory.
A totally bizarre reply.
You are already signing up for something you have no idea what it is.

Well, it's not going to fold overnight as the company were immediately planning on giving us all a 10% pay increase.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

If by immediate, you mean over the next 3 years, after agreeing to radical changes, sure. Another one who doesn’t bother to read proposals.

Well we have had a few battles on here but you need to see the agreement first but like you don't think it will be a deal of the century monument. And cannot wait to see it as they promised to do so before we get the ballot papers!
