I googled LBC before this interview to check where they stood ... Politically. I too was surprised to see that in the past they've been accused of being Right Wing and Ian Dale actually stood as a CONservative candidate

Some people say Dave was given a Free platform to spread His Message .... But as Iain said they did ask Simon Thompson to come on but he wasn't interested. If you don't turn up to put your side of the story then obviously the other side is going to profit from it. Bit like surrendering the AM period of Delivery.... your competitors will jump in and hoover up that business!

Andy Furey on Jeremy Vine from about 12:05 today and various comments from posties and sending customers
between the 'records' (showing my age there) for about the next 15-20 mins. Can get it on BBC Sounds.

The 'updated' offer of 9% was mentioned again though, wish Andy had really broken it down to show that it's not a flat 9% as
this is the headline figure that is always quoted by the media.

Shelagh Fogerty on LBC this afternoon mentioned that the phone lines were completely open but there were no anti union calls at all during Dave's phone in, pointed out that the public are on side with the strikes while Labour are still sitting on the fence

Today I've been telling my customers to watch it on you tube, so they get a proper idea of what's really going on. Thought Dave Ward did a great job. The amount of support I've been getting is amazing, even though people know that they might not get their xmas cards and packets they're still telling me to not give up and keep fighting. There seems to be more information out there now on what RM are planning to do and the public aren't very happy about it, they don't want to lose the service they get now with their regular posties to be replaced with just another rubbish courier company.

They have been. I think they're on the CWU's social media, if you're on them. I think the BBC has honestly been the worst, or maybe that Jeremy Kyle interview, that was just infuriating to watch.

Thing is communication is an art and he may not of had it 10 to 15 years ago but he has it now and with hope it will result in our winning this dispute and the fact of the matter is he is running rings round thompson and our sad government!
