He won't because he knows, as we do, he'd be torn apart by Dave.
Like Dave has torn him apart in the negotiations?
How come we are still on strike?
Was you in the negotiation room ?. You only have to watch Thompson's interview to know why we're still on strike .
The problem is that Simon wasn't in the negotiation room

Maybe that's one of the reasons why he's not fit enough to be the CEO of a great company like Royal Mail .

We all know he cannot negotiate because he cannot communicate and thus resorts to dictating what an upbringing this still child has had!

I find it very ironic that he was quoting what we're getting now as if bigging himself up .... Our Team get Such & such percentage above other firms ..... Our Team is so many percentage Fully Employed .......

When the whole point of his intended future changes will be to totally trash all these Plus Points that he was quoting .... as if he was the one that genourously gave them to us in the first place .... Bloody Hypocrite. ;liar

Perhaps some Tech Savvy Posties could alter that interview to tell the Real Truth. ST sat there saying "We used to pay more to Our Team ... Now they're getting the same as Dirty Van Man .... We used to have a High Percentage of Permanent Staff .... Now we've laid off 10,000 posties and we're using even more Agency Staff etc etc ! :cuppa
Like all Wage Slaves, he had two crosses to bear: The people he worked for and the people he worked with! (Stephen Vizinczey.)

“We pay 18-40% above the industry norm”
Actually meaning “we pay 18% above minimum wage”
£10.40 x 1.18 = £12.27
“But I, Simon Thompson, do not think our team is worth this”
“So i’ll try to to get rid of them and employ as many people
as possible on a wage of just 12.5% above minimum wage”
£10.40 x 1.125 = £11.70
I hope my maths is correct :Very Happy
Feeling really valued
