He winds me right up, telling people what to type in the comments, so f*****g childish, follow the leader sheeple. Also, nice to see thousands and thousands tuning in. I think while I Was watching it said around 5.6k were watching, hardly thousands and thousands, not even 10% of the workforce. Most people while supporting this are sick to death of it and just want a resolution.

We all know we are going to get screwed in someway, we always do, it is just how badly.

I listened in and it was an hour of character assassination of Thompson. No indication of changing what we are currently doing and no indication of any proposals being put foward by the union or vision of how they would like any changes to working practices and benefits to look.

From the picket line today it appears a few more in work today than on other strike days. The union leaders really need to give us a vision of how they see the future might work given changes are inevitable.

Yes I remember the British Airways cabin crew who were on strike as some where having to sleep in their car at the Airport and the CEO came down to the picket line and bought everybody a 3 course meal.

The idea that ST is some rogue entity and the board don't know what hes trying to do and there is a code of honour in big business is nonsense on stilts.

The thing that hacks me off about the HQ lot is they never hold their hand up and say they got this or that wrong.

Davd Ward boasting last week they had flushed out Simon Thompson and exposed him for what he is.

This from the people who ripped up 500 disagreements (one of them mine ) and then sat next to the CEO and demanded we participate in the BIg Trust Survey because they didn't know what was going on in Royal Mail.

They then reiterated their promise to finally tackle B&H but instead forced in revisions in a 12 month period which increased B&H - they should have been pulled early on as the Revision Process /Model Week etc etc were/are a farce and the efficency/productivity savings were never achievable.

They tell us that they want RM to be Renationalised but now they want to put forward an alternative business plan but the strongest case for Renationalisation is understanding what a natural monopoly is and pointing out that DSA as part of 8 Billion letters delivered last year would be seen pre neo liberal economics as not true competition from Adam Smith to John Maynard Keynes and parties of all persuasion in the west until the 80s.In short all letters should be returned to RM to " manage the decline *"

We did not replace him the markets/boardroom did like Liz Truss 24 hours in politics is a long time, A week in the position as he is in is the same he knows this himself!
