Losing £365 million, paid out £400 million, not hard to work out where all the profit has gone.

Rico tried the same thing and got sacked yet we got a rise linked to change, why can't the new ceo's sort something out you really think Simon cares about the company most posties will have this job for life so dont want terrible terms and conditions, people are sick every three year a new CEO comes in fails then trys to gig economy the job telling the staff work harder on shity terms, and why didn't they reinvest the covid profits you talked about.
[/quote]

Never said Simon care's about the company. Just saying the company isn't booming right now, most companies aren't.
I'll speculate & say the reason the CEO's keep dropping off is because they fail in getting anywhere with the boards goals of change. The CWU have done a good job for us. Now might be a time where the RM bosses are saying f it, let's push it all through. Again just speculation.
When you say "the covid profits you talked about". It's not me talking about. It's well documented that RM & other companies made huge profits during covid. Just google it & it's also reflected in the share price at that time.
Companies can do a few thing's with profits made. Reinvest as you said, pay it out in dividends, pay off debt or keep it in the bank. I'm guessing they took the 2nd option, as I said not defending them just trying to keep a balanced view on thing's.

Copying & paste small parts of what I wrote can win you cheap points if you want that. I meant speculation in terms of why the CEO's are dropping off so quickly.

I dont feel the need to win a debate if thats what you mean.

"I meant speculation in terms of why the CEO's are dropping off so quickly"

Because you repeated the word speculation when we know for a fact what Simon wants, twisting what you are saying when someone challenges you on what you are saying as in..i meant.. isn't helping.

Also why is it so hard to believe that a delivery company is making a loss given the increased energy prices and the letter part of the company not being that profitable because of the USO?

I give up now talking about the money given to shareholders - it is just not worth going on about it... Our folks expect the shareholders to get nothing from their investments - I don't get it! The shareholders did not even get a dividend the year before...

Perhaps it was too generous and lacked foresight but it is gone. The bonuses are not called for, especially the latest bonuses but it could also be based on last year's profits and performance. Done!

However, it does not change the loss we are currently making; even before the strikes.

* My last on this!
Good f**k off

Ffs. Did I not start off saying I'm speculating about why the CEO's are dropping off? Where did I mention work practices like Amazon etc? I also said I was speculating about their conversation behind close doors "let's push it all through". Is that not speculating?
No s**t they want to become more like Amazon because they have clearly said with their own mouths that they want to have us work sundays & work later. :arrrghhh

Your missing the point its not speculation,RM have given notice on what they intend to do which is an Amazon style future, the fact that every RM boss has mismanaged the company for over a decade yet give them selves all the profit and when ever it is not making profit they jump on the we need change agender,if you want to be on the fence thats up to you but dont go around calling people "simpltons" as if your intellectually superior.

This is exactly why I used the words simpletons cause I have to break things down to you like your a child 😅
Do you know for a fact they said let's push everything through?????????? If not it's called SPECULATION!!!!!
They could be waiting to push other changes in at another date, like after a 2 year deal that was rumoured. Basically we don't know.

Agenda for growth has been ripped up. New entrants at PFW will only be owner drivers and new entrants at Royal Mail will be 40 hours and less pay. This is fact not speculation.

Curious to how you know that for a fact but at least we've established it was speculating because you said more or less. Well done we finally got there :Applause
