The signature, if you can even call it that, doesnt even prove anything anyway

Most people's signature isnt the daft squiggle they put on the PDA

When it comes down to it, the GPS is what is used to indicate whether the item got to where it should be - not whos squiggle it is

Photo capture can show the item had a picture taken at the address, it dont prove it was fully pushed thru the letterbox..

photos aren't required for signed deliveries so it's down to us being honest enough to actually deliver it, which 99.9% are

Not GPS tracking, not photo capture and certainly not a signature.
They are not proof of anything.

I am afraid thats not true about hospitals as i vist someone every day at pembury hospital and you have to wear a mask before being allowed in,
I take wipes out on delivery and after anybody signs on my pda i wipe it and my hands because covid is still out there and cases are rising again.

Covid will never go away. There's always going to be a new variant every so often.

It depends if you have your own round and no your customers. I have been putting xp1 and now Dws for 2 years and had no complaints and people are happy to just receive their items, I just tell them I have a code and you don’t need to sign, job done

Most people have have been vaccinated feel safe and and forgot about the extremely vulnerable, we are all alright now.

But, no. I have two extremely vulnerable people to care for who have been unable to leave their home for over two years now.

For one of those people it is imperative to stay safe a life saving operation depends upon it, and that has been cancelled twice.

Still doing DWS but some of my colleagues aren't. Up to the individual but I prefer to DWS everything.
