Not only that, but liar Simon's basic way of using statistics says that every postie takes at least one day off sick per year. I haven't had any in the last year, so Simon is lying yet again
When this highly personal view of objective reality was first shat into existence Si did in fact mention that the 80% were absent for 1 day or less.
To be fair to the guy he talks out of his soil pipe so often he can't be expected to remember what the truth means never mind what his lies entailed.

A great day yesterday.. A Joint session of London high impact units on sick leave talking about what we can do differently to get people back to work and significantly reduce London’s sick leave. Great involvement and engagement from everyone in the room. Thank you very much everyone, it was a great day and a great investment in our time. Thank you
It's a London thing.gif

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

We've also got staff off with non work related illnesses, this is what happens when you have an ageing work force, you only have to look at the number of staff on Workplace who are celebrating completing 30+ years service, probably staff at Amazon etc are celebrating 5 years service!
