Just work to time you have a start time and finish time. Let the managers stress about it.

Easy to say but some people take pride in their work and don't want to let down their customers. Unfortunately the same can't be said about too many managers who simply want to protect their bonuses by fair means or foul.

Well those people forfeit any right to complain about being over worked!!

The management don't even sit down with each Postie and ask them the hours they aim to do over the Xmas period. If they did that and were polite and asked for the help then 1. They would get more out of their Posties and 2. They would have an idea of what extra staff they require...

The modus operandi is they assume every Postie will go over their time....well....they should assume every Postie will work to their time as that is what they are contracted to do.
